Terms of Service

The terms for using this website: what you may do with it, who owns its content, the limits of our responsibility, and the law that applies.

Effective 1 November 2026

1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of lakelinedata.com (the "site"), operated by Lakeline Data Private Limited (CIN U62011TS2026PTC224778), a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 5-497, Near Hitec City, Izzathnagar, Khanamet, Kondapur, Serilingampally, K.V. Rangareddy, Hyderabad – 500084, Telangana, India. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using the site

You may browse the site, share links to it, and quote short extracts with attribution. You must not:

  • copy or scrape the site in bulk, or present its content as your own;
  • probe, scan or test the site's security, or try to gain access to the admin area or any account that is not yours;
  • interfere with the site's operation, including by overloading it or sending automated contact form submissions;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, including any offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

3. Intellectual property

The site's text, diagrams, design, the Lakeline Data name and the Lakeline Data logo belong to Lakeline Data Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by law.

Code samples in our blog posts may be used in your own projects, without warranty of any kind. Attribution is appreciated but not required. This permission does not extend to the rest of the site.

4. Information on the site

Content on the site is general information about data engineering and AI, not professional advice for your situation. Projects shown under Labs are experiments and demonstrations built by our founders; they are not client engagements of the company. Please read our Disclaimer.

5. Enquiries and engagements

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or any obligation on either side. Any consulting or project work is governed only by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, which takes precedence over these terms.

Please do not send confidential information through the contact form. No duty of confidentiality arises until a non-disclosure agreement is signed.

The site links to websites and tools we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

7. No warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from or connected with the site;
  • we are not liable for loss caused by your reliance on site content, by third-party sites or services, or by events outside our reasonable control;
  • for any other claim, our liability is limited to direct loss that was reasonably foreseeable and caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence.

The site is free to use, and these limits reflect that. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Liability for client work is set only by the signed agreement for that work.

9. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, if you breach these terms, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs that result, including reasonable legal fees.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. They are notices, not terms you agree to.

11. Force majeure, suspension and assignment

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of networks or providers, natural events, epidemics, war or government action. We may suspend or restrict access to the site to protect it or to comply with law. We may transfer our rights under these terms to a successor. Nobody other than you and us has rights under these terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.

13. General

We may update these terms. The version shown here, with its effective date, applies from that date, and we mark significant changes on this page. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.

Questions about these terms: [email protected]. Complaints: see our Grievance Redressal page.
